This site is dedicated to Helping Harry Bailey Walk

Home

Harry Bailey is two and a half years old and lives in the borough of Greenwich in the southeast of London UK.

Since learning of his diagnosis of cerebral palsy/diplegia.. His parents have been searching for an answer to “Help Harry Walk”..and they’ve found it!!

An operation called Selective Dorsal  Rhizotomy (sdr), this is not available on the NHS, and  needs to be performed by Dr Park of St Louis Children’s  Hospital in Missouri  U.S.A.

Diplegia  affects  Harry’s  legs, he has spasticity and abnormal high tone which makes him unable to put his feet flat, thus not having any balance, therefore he cannot stand or walk.

Dr Park has given harry very positive outcomes from having the sdr operation and expects him to be able to walk unaided in all environments, so this could really change Harry’s life, we are trying to raise £60,000, this is our target . To pay for this life changing  operation  we really need your help to achieve this, any donations will be greatly received, you will be helping to change a loveable little boys life for good!

Please CLICK HERE and give your support to make Harry’s dreams come true!

Thank you for taking the time to read this Harry’s Mummy & Daddy.

    Hello,

I am pleased to announce that the first Eltham Park festival has been given the green light by the local authorities, this takes place on Saturday August 27th at Eltham park south, Glenesk road, Eltham London SE9 1AG. This event is to raise urgently needed funds for four important causes. The Jimmy Mizen foundation-Help Harry walk-A Touch Above riot relief and The Friends of Eltham parks Group. There is still a limited amount of space, which is made available, free of charge to stall holders and tabletop sales-a donation would be welcome but not expected. We welcome any items that can be raffled or used as prizes, the amount and value is not of importance. We also require volunteers/staff to assist at this and our other events.
For full information and to reserve space contact Colin on 07833 256124 or email elthamparkcafe@ntlworld.com. Colin Jerwood. Eltham Park South.
